WAPHC Helps To Clean Up The Potomac Watershed, April 1, 2000

About 30 members of the WAPHC showed up for the Potomac Watershed Cleanup. These pictures really do not do justice to the amount of garbage we cleaned up. Unfortunately, there is still much, much more there. We picked up about 175 bags of garbage and helped remove about 140 tires, among lots of other interesting things.

We formed a chain of people to get the trash bags from the banks of the Potomac up the hill.

Plenty of tires were found. Here they're being pulled up the hill by the cable truck.
